Summer Tour - June 25 to June 30, 2012

Fall Tour - September 10 to September 15, 2012

The choice of two staging periods gives you the chioce of warmer weather with a few a few more fellow visitors or less crowds and potentialy crisp fall weather conditions.

This tour starts with a wonderful dinner together to get to know each other and go over the general details of your upcoming tour. Day one takes us north through high Utah mountains, a scenic bird refuge and into Jackson, Wyoming where we will stay near the historic downtown district giving us several outstanding dining and entertainment options.

The next day, we pass through Grand Teton National Park stopping for the incredible views across Jenny Lake to the Grand Teton mountain range. We immediately travel north into Yellowstone National Park to experience the eastern side including Jackson Lake and West Thumb Geyser Basin. That night puts us in Cody, Wyoming for the best steak dinner in the state and, if you choose, you can take in an evening PRCA sanctioned rodeo.

Day three will take us to the most northern part of our trip through the Chief Joseph Highway and onto the incredible 11,000 foot Beartooth Highway which has been called “The most beautiful drive in America” by the late Charles Kuralt and just recently voted the BEST (# 1) motorcycle road of the top 15 motorcycle roads in the United States by the American Motorcycle Association. After lunch in Red Lodge, we will backtrack over the Beartooth Highway to Cooke City, Montana for a fun evening in a small mountain town (population 150). Trust us, you will love it!

On day four we will explore the eastern side of Yellowstone including Upper and Lower Falls in the "Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone". Crossing to the western side, we will visit Norris Geyser Basin and spend the evening in the fun town of West Yellowstone.

On day five, we will ride to one of the most classic icons of the USA, Old Faithful. We will have he time to spend there because there are several other predictable geysers in the area which is acknowledged at the most thermally active region in the world! A classic place to spend some time. After that, a cruise back into Jackson with enough time to spend wandering this historic western town.

The last riding day takes us through Wyoming valleys, plains, and Utah Mountains back to Salt Lake. The trip is about 1200 miles with only 15 freeway miles on the entire route.
