Transportation-

All local transportation outside of the actual tour will be provided. To and from the airport, your local lodging and to the rental dealership, we will not leave you stranded.

Meals-.

A welcome dinner the night before we leave will start the tour. This gives everyone a chance to meet and get to know their new friends. A farewell dinner the last night on the road will be a chance to swap tales of the trip and say goodbye in a social setting. All other meals will be your choice and at your pace to avoid the hard structure of a group tour. Of course, dining recommendations will be provided at all overnight destinations.

There will be certain special event dinners on some tours that will be included as there are certain dining experiences that cannot be missed.

However, at your request, we can include all meals to provide one less thing to be concerned with.

Lodging-

All lodging, from the moment you arrive until the time you leave is included in the tour package. We will be staying in some of the more unique establishments that will add personality to the trip and that are “Biker Friendly”, that is, bikes will be close to the rooms.

Lodging will be provided on a double occupancy basis and we will be glad to pair up independent travelers. Just like camp counselors, we will endeavor to make a good match.

Support Vehicle-

Our basic services for our guided or assisted tours so not include a support vehicle or trailer as we have found that our guest want to keep it a little more "pure" to the riding experience. However, if the group requests, this service will certainly be included for an additional fee.

The support vehicle will have room for transporting motorcycle riders and/or passengers if they choose to take a break from riding. Non-riding passengers are always welcome in the support vehicle for an additional tour fee. No unaccompanied children, please. We will carry plenty of chilled water and other beverages (non-alcoholic, of course) as well as snacks to see you through the day.

The trailer is available to transport all the luggage that you would normally carry and your motorcycle if you choose to take a break from riding. Purchases made along the way will be carried in the trailer or we can arrange to ship any items from the place of purchase directly to your home.

Entrance fees-

All entrance fees for National and State Parks as well as attractions we visit as a group will be included.

Luggage shipping -

Traveling with all of your riding gear and clothing for your tours is rather awkward especially when traveling by air. We will supply shipping through FedEx Ground (U.S, domestic only) to Salt Lake and back to your home to simplify your traveling. With no luggage at the airport, security and check-in will be a breeze.

WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED

Alcohol-

Open Road will not provide spirits of any kind. We insist that all alcohol consumption take place after the day's ride. Once we reached our destination please feel free to enjoy a cocktail or cold one, at your expense of course. We will join you!

Transportation to Staging Location-

You are responsible for your way here and home. We encourage each party to look into travel insurance so you are protected against unforeseeable events, should they happen.

Motorcycle Fuel-

Since we can not predict fuel prices, this is not included in the tour price so please plan for this expense.
